Country Dancing In Kalamazoo

Special Notices:

We want to dance, but we have to wait until it's safe.  With the increase in COVID-Delta infections and the subsequent recommendations from both the CDC and MDHHS, we have decided to push back the opening of the 2021-2022 dance season until at least March 12.

By then, Covid should be on the wane, and windows can be opened up. Our best guess is that we'll start back up with a classic Saturday night dance to knock the rust off our moves and get back into the swing of things. Please understand that this situation is fluid. Check our Facebook Page, the AACTMAD site, or this website for the latest information on whether a particular dance will be held. If Southwest Michigan is still a "red zone' we will not dance. When it's safe again, we will welcome all who are fully vaccinated, and ID, proof of vaccination and signed waiver will be required.

We are a non-profit group in Kalamazoo Michigan, passionate about preserving the joy and excitement of the contra, square, and English dance traditions. We provide beginners' instruction and live music, and we welcome everyone!

Please take a moment to browse our website and learn more about the dances and our organization.
