Saturday, June 8 - Contras and Squares - Skills workshop at 7:00 PM   Tunes by River Dance
Open Mic with Various Callers

Wednesday, June 19 - English Country Dance - Skills workshop 7:00 PM.  Dancing  7:30 to 9:30 

Wonderful English dances from Elizabethan to Jane Austen to Modern - Music by Thorn Among the Roses, and our CDK English Callers.

Saturday, June 22 - Advanced Contras and Squares -  Caller Laurie Pietravalle and Tunes by Brook Farm String Band.  Dancers should be able to dance with little or no walk throughs, be comfortable with all standard contra dance figures, such as heys, contra corners, etc., quickly orient themselves after each figure, and expect more complex dance patterns. 



Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. You are welcome to bring a snack to share if you like.

All dances are held at the Oshtemo Grange, 3234 North 3rd Street (corner of 3rd St and H Ave.).

We are a non-profit group in Kalamazoo Michigan housed in an ADA compliant historic grange hall, passionate about preserving the joy and excitement of the contra, square, and English dance traditions.

We provide beginners' instruction and live music, and we welcome everyone!
